About this business

Located in the town square of Southlake, Rockfish is an excellent place to entertain out-of-town guests. The close proximity to DFW Airport makes it an easy trip if you are staying at one of the airport hotels. The restaurant has a warm and rustic ambiance, which is accentuated by the fishing pictures that adorn the walls. Dissatisfied My fiancé' and I just ate at the Southlake location today between 6-7pm. I can sum this restaurant and its management up in two words: Pathetic and Unprofessional. I ordered the Catfish & Shrimp platter with sweet-potatoes and mixed vegetables. ($11.99 +tax) The catfish smelled like it was old and fishy. The entire plate was oily from the fish. The shrimp was no better. I thought adding the "honey lemon butter" sauce would mask the taste and make the dish edible, but to no avail. My meal tasted vile. I remained ... read more

Who doesn't love the darling of Texas seafood chains? The food is so popular, they offer takeout by the quart. – In Short Pictures of fish highlight the cabin motif, but sleek metal barstools and touches of neon temper the feel. Daily chalkboard specials cater to both surfers and turfers. Mexican shrimp martinis dangle shrimp cocktail in salsa, and pecan trout sizzles under honey lemon butter. Melted gouda spinach dip whets the appetite. Pot roast, skinny onion rings, and Key lime pie satisfy it.

A can't miss default place to eat. – Good standard Texas food. A good place to go if you are just trying to have a relaxing place to eat, but don't want want to accidently eat somewhere bad. All of the dishes everyone had were tasty, and they put so much on there, you'll have enough for the dog back home (or breakfast in the morning!) The servers were nice and friendly, just like you'd expect in Texas.
