My grandmother went to the ER yesterday and the whole time she was never hooked up to a monitor! I don’t care if the patient is in severe condition or not any ER VISIT that you are there for multiple hours you should be hooked up to a monitor!! She said she was freezing and never even offered or given a blanket! Just unbelievable and not professional at all!

TAKE YOUR CHANCES, DRIVE PAST THIS PLACE, AND GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE!! I went septic from a UTI, so they put me in the ICU and kept pumping me with fluids through an IV over the course of about a week. I told them I COULD NOT BREATHE, several times. The entire time. My family member asked for a respiratory therapist, (at this hospital with "SO MANY AWARDS" for their "INSANELY GREAT RESPIRATORY PERFORMANCE"). After having complications from a spinal fusion and laminectomy I had to be transported by ambulance to Rockcastle Regional ER. I was cared for there while arrangements were made to get me to my surgeon in Lexington. The ER nurse and others took great care of me! Thank you!

Don't know if I understand this right but isn't ER there for emergencies...and during an emergency are they not supposed to take a person back right away when it's a serious injury. Well today my mom's hand was crushed in between a horse and a wooden post, she was crying and holding back from throwing up. Her hand is 4 time it's size, but yet they questioned her to death and anyone with a brain or heart could see the urgency in this situation. But nope she had to wait about 15 mins to be taken back.
