Dr. Tina Ann Thompson Kerr apparently was promoted at Emory despite her lack of care for patients. Her ego blinded her ability to hear a patient in pain which resulted in the patient dying. She never called with condolences and she never owned where she went wrong. The rate of breast cancer in black women is less than other races, yet black women die more from it that other races primarily because of doctors like Dr. Tina Ann Thompson Kerr who is guilty of ignoring the concerns and pains of patients.

I started going to Rockbridge Medicine as a young adult and trusted them to see the rest of my family as well, including my mom. Our doctor was Dr. Tina Ann Kerr Thompson and she was great in the beginning. However, as time went on she got less attentive and didn't take our concerns seriously. This was concerning because she is a black woman so we thought she we understand how black women are more likely to be misdiagnosed or their symptoms ignored and that she would be more attentive. I've been a patient here 38 years, but because they're part of Emory, I'm planning to change practices. The doctors that take call for them are uncaring and rude!!!
