Called to have the toilet tank parts repaired. I got a entire kit and I was quoted 175 for the job. When they got to the house they said they will only replace the flange for 175. I called and asked why they guy turned it around on my and told me that I never told him it was the whole kit and it was only the flange. He then said if I want the rest put it in it would be 300. He said if I want then to come out he didn’t mind because he loves making money. Horrible plumbing company and unprofessional.

I called Rockaway Plumbing, Heating and Cooling to get a quote on multiple plumbing projects in my home. They said they could send someone over the next day during a specific timeframe or maybe later that same day and they'd let me know. A couple hours later, I was leaving to go for a walk and a van pulled into my driveway. A plumber wearing an American Way Mechanical shirt got out and both of us were very confused that no one had let me know he was coming. Quick, Efficient & Knowledgeable! We had a leak coming though our ceiling on Saturday and they responded immediately to schedule an appointment on Sunday. The plumber was very knowledgeable and explained what the problem was fixed the leak in the same appointment. We are very satisfied and will use them for any of our plumbing needs in the future.

Did an excellent job replacing a leaky hot water heater on short notice.
