Really nice and easy to see them. But: DO NOT FEED WILD ANIMALS. This is really a no go!!!
They were awesome and so friendly, there are places locally where you can buy food that's appropriate for them.
The rock wallabies are absolutely adorable — watching them up close is a truly special experience. However, it was deeply upsetting to witness how some visitors treat these vulnerable animals. We saw people feeding them unsuitable food, leaving rubbish behind, and showing little awareness of the harm they can cause. One wallaby, with patchy fur was chewing on a plastic cup, and heartbreakingly, we came across a dead wallaby by the roadside. These are wild animals, not pets, and their health depends on us respecting their spa... read more
Nice place. Wallabies are present and do come out for food. They are most likely to come out before noon. To get to the end of the walk you have to walk across some rocks, so be prepared.
