I've used Jorge for years and he does great work and is amenable
In our experience, Jorge did extremely substandard work. Both the kitchen island he installed, and our bathroom sink have cracked repeatedly. A total nightmare. Jorge blamed everything on the contractor. The kitchen island was mounted on IKEA cabinet bases, so at first we believed him. When the bathroom counter cracked though, which is installed on rock solid custom millwork, we are left with the conclusion that Jorge just does substandard work. Jorge and the team do excellent work. They have provided and installed multiple marble/granite kitchen countertops for us. Always looks spectacular and a job well done.
I worked with Jorge at Rock Stone to do a lot of stone surfaces in our Brownstone remodel. The straightforward work (kitchen counters, etc.) were all done very well. We had some really tricky cuts that look fantastic and the corners that needed to have mitered cuts look great.
these guys cut a stone window sill for me. it was perfect! easy guys to deal with and they get it done right and on time. going back with my next project. i highly recommend.
