If you enjoy spending more time outdoors than in and require basic, clean, peaceful and convenient lodging, this is the place. Very much an "old Florida" vibe, with a gorgeous beach, spotless pool, helpful staff, comfy bed and clean room. We had the efficiency with full kitchen, got rental bikes delivered from nearby, and used the free kayaks to explore the beautiful Bay of Florida. Highly recommended.

Place is cute and outside features are great. Room was nice and size was good but whole place smelled like cheap gas station soap, must be the cleaners that are used. If you know what I'm talking about, you know. We also had this annoying rattle from a/c vent over the bed that we had trouble fixing and it kept us up at night at times. Place was quiet though otherwise which was great.

We recently had the most amazing 3-day, 2-night stay at Rock Reef Resort in Key Largo, Florida, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth—the staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and truly makes you feel right at home. The property itself is spotless. A bit surprised this is called a beach resort. There were only 3 rooms that you could call the oceanfront. The room was clean. Small bathroom. Comfy bed. Check in was quick, easy and courteous. No daily housekeeping. Kitchen means mini fridge, microwave and single cup coffee maker.
