Disappointed . Rockpool overgrown with bulrushes.
Well worth a visit. I saw a turtle on a log so decided to have a snorkel. I saw many more turtles including a really big one underwater. A dream experience for me. Careful as there are lots of underwater snags. But easy to see as the water is pretty clear.
Peaceful. Did not see the elusive platypus this time
Easiest place to access at Carnarvon Gorge and worth a visit. Recommend you go on past the "end of defined track." Car park close by.
