We had to switch to Silverton from Ouray due to the fire. Was looking for outdoor adventure activities. Came across Rock Pirates who were in the same street as we were staying. Spoke to the owner Eric over the phone and he was kind enough to accommodate us on such a short notice and put us in their Expedition XP5 north star SxS. We were able to do the Red Mountain experience, definitely coming back again next year to do the alpine loop and continental divide
Highly recommend you use Rock Pirates to use for all your off reading needs! We rented a OHV and drove out to Animas Forks, Cinnamon Pass and Minnie Gulch! Great views and no problems with vehicles. Every Thing about the vehicle and safety issues were explained. I would definitely recommend that you rent it for three hours or longer! We will be back and do an all day offloading trip! staff was highly professional and great!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful, but Chase especially went above and beyond. He gave us great recommendations that helped us make the most of our trip. The customer service at both locations was outstanding, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Such great experience and super easy to get loaded up and goin! Definitely suggest everyone does the full alpine loop trip! Loved the waypoint guide that highlights many historic sites along the way! We did it for our one year wedding anniversary and it’ll be forever in our memories.
Rented 2 Polaris RZRs for 3 full days and the folks at Rock Pirates were amazing. Not over-regulated and no red tape. They just give you the keys and tell you to go have fun! They take care of everything. The machines are new and in great shape. They even furnished coolers at no charge! Highly recommend!
