This place has restored hope for me. I've been depressed and neglecting my own hair for a while (just in a from and out the door) so, i wanted to get it done so I could feel better. After a few days of calling around, everyone in the neighborhood told me they dont do African American hair. I walked in to a few places to ask and was turned away because im black and they dont do my type of hair. I swear it was like being hit with "whites only" signs. Literally. Awesome hair cuts and color... great prices....very friendly...I dont normally trust people with my hair cut's and color but Cynthia is the best... her and her staff will fix you up
Called to set up an appointment to get a basic haircut. They said that the two stylist there was booked, but would have the one coming in at 10 give me a call and let me know if they could fit me in. Never recieved a call. Regardless if you were booked for the day or not, you could have called me and set up an appointment for another day. Felt like I wasnt important enough for their time or business. Fair enough. Ill take my money and business elsewhere.
