Look, you bought a house with stucco, it’s not the end of the world. I would look for any contractor (even out of town) other than Rock and River. He only answers realtor’s calls. He is known for absolutely ghosting everyone. Most of the negative reviews here are spot on. The proprietor is a liar and unable to do anything he says he will do. Please save your money and time- DO NOT MAKE ANY SALES DEPENDENT ON HIS COOPERATION. Please think twice.
It is hard to find honest contractors that do good work, are responsive, and educate you along the way. It is even harder to find these qualities in a local stonemason. Rich at Rock-N-River is always responsive and makes sure to get to the job, and gets it done right.
Rock N River was recommended to us by several people when a house we bought needed the stucco to be redone. Rich and his team did a phenomenal job! They worked for a couple of weeks straight (not working for an hour or two and then disappearing for a week as some contractors I’ve experienced) to get the job done. Easy to get a hold of, friendly, fair price, beautiful work. Highly recommend!
Recommended from our realtor as inspector for a house with EIFS we bought in 2020. Found two large sections that needed replaced and drip caps that needed installed around the whole house. $9k for the job. A year later around the corner of one of the sections that was replaced I found bubbling of the exterior full of rot on the house sheeting. Replaced myself because he never would answer or call back.
