2 days in a row were bad. I won't stay at the Hocking Hill Lodge annd Conference Center again just because you're locked into eating here as there's nothing else around. Dinner 1: *a dead night* -the water tastes bad -they were out of salmon -they were out of mashed potatoes -WAITED 1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES for the food to come out -the rice was gross -steak was over cooked -brought child's food out last -ALL 3 MEALS WERE COLD -the shrimp dish tasted like fish. Food was pretty awful. The reuben sandwich was slightly burned, the French onion soup was a bowl of mushy croutons with very little soup, and the pork medallions were dry. The waitress was nice. We had a reservation but when we arrived we were told they might not be able to seat us although they ultimately did. I wouldn't go back there.
We came here after a intense hike, half to explore and half to eat. We found it AWESOME and the food is sooooooooo good!!!!!!! The service is amazing, and we like the funky jazz music! Everyone seems so nice, especially the waitress Ashley! She’s SOOOO nice. Had the starving arvin beef sandwich. Couldn't finish it because the beef was like eating a salt block. Order something else !!!
NATE in the Rock House Pub was exceptional…..he went out of his way….very considerate…..very polite!…He will go places….we ate at the pub on August 18th and August 20th, 2026….his service was phenomenal and personal…professional…and respectable….We will be back next year!
