Dr. Harper is a good doctor with a great bedside manner. The office staff, however, will screw you on billing. I went in for a standard preventative colonoscopy. While I was under, they found a polyp. There are apparently two ways to bill this. One is as a PREVENTATIVE procedure with a secondary code noting that something was found. The other is as a DIAGNOSTIC procedure (because something was found) with a secondary code noting it was a preventative screening.
