So So experience – Food was mediocre, fries were cold. Service was slow, not worth the money
Great – Stopped by here to celebrate with some friends. This is a spacious and lively place. Upon entering, the place smells entirely of beer. There are two sections here, the front is where the bar is, with some small booths and scattered tables. It is really crowded in this section, where most of the customers are young twenty-somethings from the nearby AI college or young downtown professionals. mediocrity is their speciality – For some reason the people of the Orland Park area love to support the places that don't specialize in anything but mediocrity--I can't quite understand it. I guess people around here just don't like food as much as I do. If you are looking for an everso slight change-of-pace from your usual bucket of Miller Light night and you have very unsensitive taste buds, then you will want to put yourself on the mailing list at Rock Bottom.
always a good time – That's crazy...My friends and I love Rock Bottom, Orland Park, Downtown, Lombard...they're great places to have some great beer and good food. The food isn't just "bar food," even the late night menu...good portions and lots of variety. The beer is always awesome, so many different options, not just your standard light, pale, and stout. Geat Beer – Great beer and great food by a caring staff. Previous reviewer knows nothing about Health Dept. inspections and how food can make you ill. I am a regular diner and have nothing but positive comments to make about Rock Bottom and their staff especially the night bartenders.
Don't go here!!! – First of all, there is an overwhelming, unidentifiable scent inside this establishment. When you start off with your drink order, don't order soda or water, I don't think they have changed the filter in the machine since they've been open! The French Onion soup is good - in fact, the only reason I went there, was for the soup. I've tried almost everything they have on the menu, and nothing, besides the soup, was even close to being edible. I wouldn't even feed this food to my cat!
Manager did not care that their food made us sick – My husband and I were at Rock Bottom Ale in Minneapolis last night for dinner. The food was very good going down... unfortunately, it was not so great coming back up. Both my husband and I were ill at both ends within three hours of our dinner. I called the restaurant today and I spoke with a manager named Jim who stated it couldn't possibly be their food and he was not willing to even take a look into it. Best food and beer and service – What a place! great service to match the food. Beer to die for. Clean and cheery. Been there about 7 times and never disappointed. I am hard to please Folks, you won't get poisoned here!
