Resoled my heavily worn shoes. Better than new. Took a while, but good work. They were still done before their 6 week frame that they provided, so can't complain.
So mixed bag here summary is I think the shop is great for finding unique aid gear or ice stuff and I've heard wonderful things about buying new shoes here with their expertise. Next time I buy an entirely new shoe type (as opposed to the same size and model as previous) I'll likely go in. The resoles are so-so and I've had two specific issues that means I won't be going back as long as I can find alternatives. Colby recently did a resole for a pair of Scarp a Phantom Guide ice boots. I am very pleased with the quality of work performed and the communication provided by Colby and his staff regarding the re sole process of the boots. Highly recommend using them for future repairs.
I am happy with new Vibram Speed Star soles on my running style shoes that wore through the outsole from 3 months of daily walking. The shoes were very comfortable and the uppers were still like new so I decided to try this to extend the life. It was about the half the cost of a new pair and it took about 3 weeks. The new sole is much more durable.
We paid $140. We went over the repairs to be done. They did nothing but GLUE new soles and polish the boots. Awful. Never go there. 3 weeks all they did was glue soles on. 😡😡😡
