My husband was admitted here, with Alzheimer's, when he was admitted he had paranoia, to the extent he had to be sectioned, he was walking talking taking himself to the lavatory and was speaking and eating, he declined rapidly whilst there, it was advised he went into a nursing home I waited 5months, I was told his decline was due to his Alzheimer's, he was given a lot of sedation, consequently didn't eat or drink by himself, I live now with the regret leaving him in their care, he eventually looked like a skeleton, and died... read more
PLEASE BEWARE IN TRUSTING THIS PLACE, Unfortunately I trusted the NHS After being told multiple times not to go private by the NHS, and was unaware of what a disgusting state the NHS and this disgusting place in particular was in, now seeing all the posts from the other family’s that have and are still suffering, please don’t trust these people with your life or your family’s, very dangerous place.
This place is not good for mentally ill people.patients fighting each other,vile staff and nurses.i was insulted by staff members.nurses being provocative with patients.patients trying to escape.food thrown everywhere and vandalism.
My stay here was unpleasant. Areas were often dirty. Staff often quite rude. Rooms very small.
