Went there around 1ish..asked a question of the "courtesy desk" person. She was so disgusted she even had to speak to me. I thought how rude..still thanked her and said have a nice day....silence no return rhetoric. I turned and said she was the rudest person. She was so plesant to the next person and I raised my voice oh not rude racist. Other person was white as well as herself She should not work at the courtesy desk because she was not courteous. At least fake it.
Stopped there yesterday and was in a hurry, bought 5 ears of corn for 1.99 and a couple other things, didn’t shuck the corn as i normally do, check corn before you buy, every ear was dried out 1/4 way up the ear when i went to shuck today. They should have checked it before putting it out on the floor for sale.
Not many people can afford to shop there so if you're one of the lucky ones who can afford it, you're in and out without waiting in long lines like you do at Stop & Shop & Shaws!!
Every time I buy fruits from this store, they're half rotten or moldy. Like today, I get home with some of their clementine bag and three of them are rotten to the point that it's leaking and mushy. I only noticed when I unpacked them at home and the bag was wet with some smell. Terrible! One time the mushrooms in their hot foods section was so full of fuzzy mold, I pointed it out, and the guy behind the counter insisted it's cheese. Uh, no. There are no fuzzy cheeses.
This store offers a lot of varieties. The management will make sure you are happy. great store, will come back....
A thought going a few times was a little pricy for me. I actually have a super market across opposite side of street I hate. Decided to go back to Roche Brothers twice this week but on a low budget to buy dinner $8.99. Love the ready made soup $9.99. I love salad too and the bakery as well. Spent this week in between 2 -4 days $89 one trip and $87 the 2 trip. Living on a small retirement check on the 1st of the month. Utilities gas cable killing us. Spending budget money whatever left.
