Its great and nice and we take good care of the customers. I'm a Roche Bros employee.
It’s the only grocery store downtown but it’s dark, cramped, and the checkout system is a nightmare. It’s always 10-20 minutes of waiting in line to check out. It’s also pretty expensive. Whole Foods actually has much better prices. Ex: non organic lemons and limes are almost always $1/each at Roche bros while .29-.49 each at Whole Foods.
Convenient, yes. Overpriced, totally. Cashiers, very incompetent. They consistently forget to give you your cash back. They leave paid-for items out of your bag. They overcharge you. I've spent so much $ in here, but now will be banning it. Whole Foods is less expensive and has competent cashiers. I've complained, but continue to see the exact same practices. No improvements.
Security at the door was a complete asshole and all I did was use the bottle deposit out front. And wouldn't let me cash my voucher and he couldn't tell me why either
