Very concerning experience at Atrium Health Weight Management in Concord. The provider began the appointment by standing in the doorway and stating he would not see me, directing me to another doctor I had only seen once years ago. When I asked for clarification, he repeatedly said he “would not help me” without explanation. When he did begin asking questions, I tried to answer and provide relevant medical history, but was repeatedly interrupted and told I was interrupting him—even when simply responding. Best WLSthis area. He is very attentive, great bedside matters, and did a fantastic job with my surgery. If you follow his rules you will have great experience with spectacular results. I went from 264 in 2001 and I am 130 lbs still to this day. No medical problems at all from this sugery. Only problem in beginning was when my head told me to take another bite but my stomach said no and I would have a dumping episode.( throw up) He gave me all the information and I followed it word for word for 5 years.
