I had a great experience with Rob‘s service. My daughter was traveling home from college and blew a tire on the freeway near Rob‘s business. She was able to get off the Freeway safely. We are from the Cleveland area so we googled to find Robs Service - I called and immediately Rob dropped what he was doing - he understood the urgency of our situation and within 15 minutes he picked up my daughter in a flatbed to tow her vehicle to his place of business. I was driving home from Ohio University and my tire completely blew out on the freeway. I was right next to the Caldwell exit, and with enough luck I was able to make it off the freeway and turn into the Pilot gas station there. I, along with my parents at home, were trying to figure out who we could call to help and saw that Rob’s Service Center was right down the road. 9 days ago we brought a vehicle to him so he could swap the transmission. Seemed like great guy until it took him over a week to swap a transmission. Claimed it was because he's "co owner of John's auto" in Columbus. Turns out hes just a sub contractor. Anyways he let us leave with a new malfunctioning transmission and as soon as we left he blocked us. Bring your vehicles to him at your discretion, it will take weeks for him to fix, if he doesn't break anything in spite of you.
Stopped in just after 7 am and described my issue with my old Suburban, they listened to it and diagnosed the fan clutch was bad in less than 30 seconds! Thankfully it wasn't a time consuming fix and they fit me in this morning since this was their lightest scheduled day. After securing a ride I dropped it off @ 8am and it was waiting on me before noon! Cannot beat that! Working properly now and im back on the road!
