Robolights was such a fascinating place to visit! Toward the end of the self-guided tour, we even got to meet the artist and check out his artwork for sale. While the pieces weren’t directly related to what we’d just seen in his backyard, it was still a really unique and memorable experience!
Such an interesting and fun spot! We left with more questions and curiosity than we came in with. So colorful and cool and wacky! And lots of cats :)
It’s not your typical tourist stop! It’s weird, eccentric, bright, and thought-provoking in the best way. If you appreciate creativity that pushes boundaries and want to see something truly original, Robo Lights is absolutely worth a visit. Tip: patience and an open mind is an absolute must to fully enjoy it!!
We had a super lovely experience here! A wonderful mix of MeowWolf and Slab City. Would love to come again the evening and see the light show! It is by appointment only so it never felt crowded. The whole experience takes about an hour and there is a mandatory donation at the end.
Put this at the very top of your list. Kenny Jr. is a true original, a bonafide genius, and a lovely, gentle soul. His creations are spectacular, enormous, exuberantly creative, a real feast for the eyes.
