We walked the trail under the highway bridge. Due to all the rain here, three areas of the trail are under water and muddy. We just went around and through the weeds. You can go all the way to Pine Rd. It's about 3.25 miles out and back to parking. There are no real views of the river except under the bridge. We found the pools in the old quarry area interesting. It's a nice walk!
Nice spot, easy access to the water. I need to go back to try the rock climbing!
