This place is a joke. After waiting 2 hours in the exam room, the doctor finally came in with her assistant. First they asked questions about our dog’s symptoms, which was not a problem. Where the problem began was during the examination process. Before even examining our dog with diarrhea issues, the doctor was pitching an over night stay… with IVs, tests etc…. I have been to Robinson Vet Hospital before. They have not changed since my last visit two years ago. My dog Sparky got into chocolate I did not realize was in his reach. I called before driving the fifty miles there, and they told me to bring him in. Staff was professional, outlined his treatment and costs, allowed me to decide how to proceed, and took great care of him. We rushed our GSP to Robinson 24 Hour Hospital with concerns about a possible twisted stomach. Their staff was incredibly welcoming and stepped in right away, taking such great care of our pup. We brought our fearful Chow Chow in for treatment of a painful neck wound, and Katherine and Dr. Tejas were absolutely wonderful with her. Dr. Tejas was willing to try treating her without sedation, taking the time needed as she understood her breed and moved at her pace. My 16 year old Hamiltonstovare had a significant seizure, so I rushed him to the Robinson Vet Hospital at 6:30am Friday. He already had failing legs and other signs of advanced aging, but still had enough life in him that I was holding off on putting him down- but with this seizure, I made the decision on the ride that now was the time.
