Beautiful authentic cottage private . Feels remote but is only 3 miles from town . Stunning scenery and the hot tub was so relaxing . Robin the host is really sound and nothing is to much trouble, vegan meals available freshly cooked by robin , we didn’t get to have any food but they look delicious
Great 'off the grid' accommodation to spend a few days in and live life at a friendly pace! However, advice is to come prepared with all supplies you'll need to last your stay. Getting in and out of the location is not the nicest of tasks. The surrounding are absolutely stunning, the cottage is charming, and the farm kitten is an absolute delight! Is it even real?! It feels like a dream. Rustic, historic, beautiful. This place is truly restorative. Robin is the perfect host and I was blown away that he cooks vegan food, mostly from his own garden/foraging, and that he was happy to make it oil free to suit my autoimmune diet. If you are looking to slow down and reconnect with yourself. This is the place.
If you're looking for a rustic getaway, this is the place to go. Wood fires, acres of land to explore, beautiful views, and a fantastic host. Bring your car to explore further afield (there's a lot you'll want to see and enjoy). To be warned, it is a vegetarian/vegan stay (no meat allowed), but Robin is an amazing cook and can recommend how to create fantastic vegan/veggie dishes that will have you not even missing such. A truly special place for a getaway in a spectacularly beautiful part of the world. The house was cosy, the hot tub was a real treat, and Robin was a wonderful host. Even though we booked same-day, he was incredibly helpful and accommodating with our arrival times and still managed to cook us a delicious vegan dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended!
