We were referred to this firm to help us prepare our wills and powers of attorney. At the beginning, we were told the total cost would be around $5,000, and we signed a retainer based on that understanding. However, without warning, we received an additional invoice for another $4,000, bringing the total to $9,000 — nearly double what was initially quoted.
