For a professional practice (Aurora Health at Robina Private) it is surprising that they can't get their EFTPOS system to work. They insist on clients prepaying their invoices BEFORE providing their service, leaving the customer out of pocket, and having to manually claim the Medicare refund days later because they haven't sent you a receipt for the payment. I would not recommend this facility for mental health support. On 17/7, my referral was sent to Robina. Due to severe phone anxiety, I can only make calls with the help of my support worker (SW), so we called intake on 23/7. I had the displeasure of speaking to “Rob,” whose behaviour was dismissive, invalidating, and outright unprofessional from the start. I called mental health about wanting to end my life. Some lady (called Tiana?) on the phone said "I hope you do" before hanging up on me and denying me access to my current doctor I was seeking help or an appointment from. UPDATE: Dan Kluver decided to protect this terrible behaviour and falsified information to throw his patient under the bus with the MHA. Avoid at all costs if you actually need help. These people are only here for money and 'status'. You will be punished here due to unethical staff.

A really nice experience at this hospital. Surgeon and hospital staff were very personable and made the stay very comfortable. Could not recommend this place more.
