Dr. Samyn is great. I have been with her for around 20 years. She saved my life in 2016 when she sent me to the hospital for an xray right from her office. Once she got the results, she told me to go to the emergency entrance to be admitted. I had an abbess in my intestines and they were able to treat me over several weeks and save my life.
Called to schedule a new patient apt and was told the annual membership fee to be seen is $2100 & majority of the “extensive preventative testing done” is also paid out of pocket. I’m sure she provides great service, but the price to be seen is unaffordable on top of medical premiums and co pays. Heads up to future potential clients.
The best doctor I've ever had.
I really miss Dr. Samyn she was literally the best doctor for me any my daughter. She was easy to communicate with and always listen to me and my concerns. She always asked how my mom was doing because she was also my mother's doctor. We all ended up moving to Ohio and have yet to find a family doctor that can compare to her. She is definitely the true definition of a family doctor!
Going to concierge medicine and charging patients $2,150 just to be a patient of hers. Clearly discriminates against any lower income families who cannot afford that. Make your choice on whether or not that’s the type of doctor you want.
