This woman was one of the most insufferable health care providers I’ve ever worked with. She insisted on telling me there are no specific spacers for trachs. How an NP who specializes in respiratory health doesn’t know this is beyond me. She then insisted the ONLY correct way to use an inhaler on a trach was with an ambu bag and it sent my patient into an immediate panic attack. Completely undermined my concerns about my patient, turns out her femur was fractured. Incompetent, rude, big ego gets in the way of competent care.... read more
