I started counseling during COVID, a tense season when I felt I had lost my groove- a bit like the emperor in the Emperor's New Groove before he finds himself again. Thanks to Robertson Counseling, I didn't have to continue being someone I didn't like- I found my way to a better me. Counseling reminded me that self-care isn't selfish, and you can't pour from an empty cup. As Sun Tzu said, nothing in nature rushes, yet everything is accomplished.
