For the second time, I am having issues with "expert judgement" around PTO repair. A few years ago, I brought in a broken PTO for repair (Hanover branch). They first "tested" it for repair, and charged me $550 for testing - and then sold me a brand new PTO assembly for $380 on top of it. I felt scammed. This week, I brought in another damaged PTO's yoke (Owen Sound branch) - the parts specialist measured it and ordered the replacement part. purchased a king quad 750 from roberts back in 2018 i think. was a fair price. they did great job helping when warranty issues came up. got engine and gear oil from them.
Robert’s is the worst place ever !! Very unhelpful and not friendly. Got a part there for my baler that cost 3 dollars and took them 10 minutes with my help to install , got a bill for 250 dollars, unbelievable, went in later to make sure it was not a mistake and they no , no tthis is bill I paided and am never going back !!
Carl in parts went out of his way to contact parts technical to find the correct PTO seal for my new holland tractor. Carl is very knowledgeable and even gave me some helpful advice to park the tractor on a downhill angle so that I didn’t loose transmission fluid when replacing the seal. Absolutely amazing customer service and very knowledgeable and hardworking staff. I would highly recommend them!
