This place is a joke. My wife had hip surgery and we wanted a place for respite/care. Despite trying for over three weeks with numerous phone messages and emails, no one has ever gotten back to us. NO ONE! In our opinion, Stuart Allington, the sales coordinator, should be fired. It's irresponsible to ignore potential clients for their residences. We most certainly will NOT consider Roberta Place Retirement Lodge as a place we might ever stay. You shouldn't either.
The way the residents are treated and cared for here is incredible. Not just the residents but their family as well. Seeing first hand how the staff and management work as a team to make sure the residents are cared for is heart warming. I have watched residents move in and it be a hard transition for them in the beginning but the support from the other residents always wins! They watch out for each other. It is the most beautiful environment I have ever been apart of.
My wife's grandfather lived at Roberta Place for a year and a half and thoroughly enjoyed his time there. The staff were excellent and always willing to assist, at times going above and beyond their standard duties to support our grandfather. Holly, the nurse was incredible and was always quick to communicate with us when we had concerns about our grandfather's health. Jack the GM was always around to answer questions as needed. I spent three weeks at Roberta Place after my knee replacement in April 2024. I will be staying there again in 2025 to recuperate after my other knee replacement. I found that the staff in all departments exceptionally caring and willing to make sure my happiness as well as my needs were expertly taken care of. This facility provides excellent value quality and service at a very affordable price. All staff and professional and friendly. Meals are served with care and attention to customers requirements.. This establishment is very clean and professionally managed with attention to detail. All residents were very friendly and welcoming, there are many activities available to those who wish to participate. Overall this facility has a great vibe and in my opinion is highly recommended
