Dr Lin was dismissive of my concerns from the moment I sat in his chair. He told me that the allergic symptoms I was experiencing were due to some fruits being a "mild irritant," and used the pinprick test to prove that there was no way I could be allergic to raw fruits, while in the same breath, said that there's no way to test for a raw fruit and vegetable allergy. When I expressed my concern that my symptoms were getting worse, he said I am not at risk because the pinprick test showed no reaction. He said that allergies t... read more

I came to Dr. Lin a month ago, specifically telling him that I experience rashes whenever I use chemical sunscreens and that I wanted to pinpoint exactly which chemical UV filters were causing the reactions, so I could attempt to find chemical SPF formulations without the aggravating filters. Dr. Lin assured me that the patch test he was recommending to me included chemical sunscreen filters. The worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. He failed to identify the main cause of my condition - histamine toxicity (fish poisoning) which causes my hives as it triggers an allergic reaction to fish. He is uncaring and distracted. He told me I can have fish because I don’t have a fish allergy. If I have listened to his advice and eat fish, I will need to immediately go to the emergency room because my allergic reaction after eating fish is potentially life threatening.

Dr Lin ghosted me. Never called the pharmacist to approve my medication for our upcoming challenge appointment. Never called me back. Sent me for bloodwork that was coded wrong. The office was dusty which is odd for an allergist registered. Areas hadn’t been cleaned in months. Pretty sure he moved offices. But how would I know, he never calls me back.
