Great hospital along with good care.
I'm still looking because their actions had to have been illegal at some point. I checked in due to the fact I was having a bad reaction to the lithium I was prescribed. The emergency room front desk women asked me why was I prescribed lithium. I told her it was a recommended to help with my anger management. She asked me how long was I suffering from anger management, I didn't want to answer because what does that have to do with the side effects I'm feeling. I had one of the worst experiences at this hospital’s emergency department. My mom went in with an active nosebleed, and the doctor dismissed it as “dry air” and only gave her a nasal spray without properly evaluating her. She was clearly bleeding, and I had to insist multiple times for them to check her blood work. When they finally did labs, her platelet count was critically low (around 4), which is extremely dangerous and could have been life-threatening if we had gone home. Unbelievably emergency room service!!! A dehydrated kid sitting for more than 2.5 hours waiting for someone to see him.
Dr kamina Patel in the er didn't even check me out at all. I came in and she basically just thought me visiting the er was a competition in her eyes for some reason. All I was trying to do was get looked at for legitimate concerns and instead she just made a fool out of me for no reason. I had to go to a different hospital completely because of her.
