I started seeing Dr.Robert Turner in 1989 as I was in the early stages of rheumatoid arthritis. I was diagnosed with this autoimmune disease in 1995, as Dr. Turner treated me until he retired. He was a great doctor who believed in quality of life for his patients. It was a long trial and error process of finding the most efficient drug & dosage for my condition. I rarely say anything great about a doctor, but when I was a patient of Dr. Turner he understood my problems better than any doctor I've ever had and was very analytical and attentive to my needs for pain without judgement. I'm still upset he retired. He was the only great doctor for pain management in Florence. They automatically transferred me to this lady who was a complete "B word" towards me and made me seem like I was drug seeking and I've never been treated in such a way before in my life.
