The course was very challenging, but a lot of fun. Also, Gary was very helpful and welcoming as a ranger. I would recommend this course to anyone

Per your request. The staff were amazing: (10 out of 5 stars) from arrival to departure. Cost of beverages and snacks: (5/5 stars) Condition of course (not including greens): (3.5/5 stars) Greens (1/5 stars) - poor speed and many, many repairs underway. Layout and Design: 2.5/5 - back nine makes up for the entirety of the front nine paired against William Hilton and Kroger. Hole 18: -2/5 worst hole on the course by far. My wife and I recently played the Robert Trent Jones Course at Palmetto Dunes while visiting Hilton Head. We paid approximately $448 after tax for the two of us, including rental clubs. At that price point, we expected a premium resort golf experience. Unfortunately, that isn't what we received. There were some positives. The layout itself is enjoyable, and most of the fairways were in decent condition, although several areas were patched or awaiting repair. The problems began before we even teed off. From the moment I arrived at Robert Trent Jones in Palmetto Dunes, the experience was first-class. The bag attendants, Kevin and Joe, were friendly, professional, and had everything ready to go, making check-in seamless. The starter, Ron, was welcoming, organized, and kept groups moving while creating a relaxed atmosphere before the round. The golf course itself was in outstanding condition.
