The Best – I recommend Robert to all of my friends and family. Not only is he someone who is honest in business and great at his job, but he takes the time to remember his customers. He provides such great service that I am willing to drive across town simply for an oil change.

sorry if I was rude – Mr Tau may come across as abrupt at times, (especially when he's busy) but he knows his cars and charges very fairly. I have a GMC envoy and was having a really bad day and may have misconstrued his actions as rude when he did not mean to be. He fixed the relay problem with the headlights and was very courteous to my wife. Thanks again and i do apologize

No better mechanic in town! – I've taken my '97 Chevy Lumina to Robert on several occasions over the past couple of years: intake manifold gasket, motor mounts, struts, and a couple other things...I'll be calling him again soon for a leaky transmission. He does it all at a very fair price and the job is done right the first time. I highly recommend Robert Tau and his team of mechanics. They're just good people.

Bad U-Joint – Took my '03 Jeep Wrangler in with a rear differential problem. A buddy and I replaced the busted up factory rear end with a Detroit Locker 4.10 rear end back in the spring of '08. I noticed one day after arriving at work the smell of gear oil. Afraid of what I would find, I looked under at the rear end and saw a very leaky rear end, particularly near where the pinoin came out and mated with the U-joint. Crap-ola. Excellent work, honest, great price. Happy to spend my money at his shop. – Took my 2002 Chevy Venture to Robert Tau thinking it had dying lifters; he knew immediately what the real problem was (leaking intake manifold gasket) and told me he does those regularly. I was in no rush so was able to leave it with him a few days; the work done was excellent as was the price. I do most of my own wrenching, but that motor is simply too difficult to work on (no room).
