I can't say enough about Dr Kavitt, he's been taking care of my esophagus for years. He is kind, caring and listens to all of my questions and concerns. He takes the stress away from very stressful situations.

I saw Dr. Kavitt in 2020 for a ongoing swallowing issue I had for over 25 years and had seen about a dozen different doctors with generally the same diagnosis. I came close to dying a few times for not being able to swallow food. They had all said I just needed to chew my food longer and avoid foods like beef or chicken. Dr. Kavitt told me I had an eroded and tilted esophagus and we should do a biopsy and then probably perform an EGD and inflate the esophagus. After 3 visits in a month, I was cured..100%. This doctor is rude. Doesn't tell you anything. Doesn't want to answer questions. Don't waste time or money on him.

I have achalasia, a rare disease, and Dr Kavitt's knowledge as an epidemiologist was invaluble in my search for answers. He was patient in answering my questions and figured out the actual cause of my pain (which neither of my surgeons had identified correctly). My quality of life is so much better now. The office of Dr Kavitt is unprofessional. I was rescheduled 4 times for an appointment and decided to ask for a different referral. I would not feel comfortable being handled by a team of unprofessionals.
