This doctors office is the worst, do not call them if you need actual help
Do not use him if you are trans FtM!! Started seeing him for diabetes, then came out to family and started hormone therapy with Dr. Silver. Told me there was only three ways to get testosterone (gel, patches and monthly shot) and I couldn’t do use any of them do to medical reasons (gel just wasn’t working well, patches gave me a rash and monthly shot gave me puffy muscle injection site contusions.) I e been seeing dr silver for many many years. He’s quiet and to the point. If you’re looking for a guy who is soft spoken, no frills, to the point. but knows his stuff really really well, he’s your man. If you’re looking for a flashy doctor who’s going to do a song and dance and be your best buddy ask about the kids etc go elsewhere. If you want a Dr who is kind and considerate, knowledgeable. Who listens well, but brings back conversations to what you’re really there for, Dr Silver is your guy
Awful. This guy shouldn't be giving males hormones because he has chosen to ignore and not put a single moment into modern research etc. Very odd way of attempting to do things. Normal dr will have you donate blood when your red blood cell goes too high, not tell you to take months off trt which helped get you feeling good enough to get your life on track after years of addiction. Taking months off without anything to recover with either mind you. The danger here is his ignorance and lack of willingness to learn. He is too o... read more
