On March 16, 2025 we found ourselves faced with making that difficult and dreaded decision of having to put our beloved 14-15 year old TARA to sleep. I very much appreciate this hospital. They were so polite and thorough, and took great care of my dog (who is not the easiest dog). I'm very grateful for them!
DR HASSINGER IS THE MAN! He took the time to properly assess my fear reactive dog and did an amazing job handling him. My dog was able to get through the whole assessment with him with no reaction which has NEVER been the case before. While I’m extremely proud of my dog I’m also impressed with how doctor Hassinger handled him with such care and intention. He answered all of my questions throughly and pointed me in the right directions. I am so glad to have found him and this hospital. Thank you SO MUCH!
Told they were at max capacity and couldn’t see my dog for 6-8 hours… (we live 20 mins from facility) these were her injuries and deep lacerations that weren’t deemed “emergency enough”. I wasn’t going to let my dog sit in agony for hours; bleeding, shaking and whimpering.. We ended up driving her to Danville (an hour and a half away) and received immediate attention even though they also had a packed waiting room. (Probably because she was bleeding all over the floor). Terrible place refused to see my dog because they are at max capacity , so they will let animals die instead of letting them be seen... highly unprofessional never have i ever been turned away because they claim to be to busy with 4 people in the lobby. Your a 24/7 clinic open 24/7 you should be able to see people 24 hours 7 days a week no reason to turn people away, disgusted with this place
