Early this morning, i came in with my dog due to an emergency. My dog has not eaten, pooped ,moved, and breathed heavy for the past 2 days. Expressing my emergency, i wasturn away and told this location is at full capacity and should try other locations an hour away, which were also at full capacity upon reaching out. My dog ate her flea collar was having very adverse reactions I really thought I was gonna lose my dog last night. I took her to this animal hospital 24 seven and they informed me they do not have a vet on promise and they are not able to take any new dogs? I got very lucky that I knew somewhat what to do. This place was absolutely no help and informed me to drive over an hour to another facility to have her seen. The woman behind the desk was very rude and obnoxious.
I called 3 times, was put on hold all 3 (fine not a problem) then all of a sudden the call just ends like the phone was hung up on their end
Our 9 month old lab unfortunately had to visit this vet twice one weekend after the next and we had such an amazing experience each time. We are not from the area and we are about 1 and a half hours away so its not an easy trip to make in such an emergency, but we are very grateful they are a 24 hour hospital. Our pup got into some toxic mushrooms outside and they monitored and kept him overnight and took very good care of him. Thank you to all the staff for helping our pup!
Leaving a review here for anyone else that might run into a similar issue. Took my cat here after he wouldn't eat or drink for a full day, he was diagnosed a diabetic. Dr. Jensen at this facility recommended Lantus brand insulin, that's what she wrote a script for, and strongly suggested even after I asked about alternatives. This insulin is about a $120 for a pen (compared to around the $20 you would spend on "vetsulin", which is what most vets recommend), and labelled that it lasts for 30 days.
