After having a stroke, my primary physician recommended Dr. Patterson and I am so grateful. A thorough visit, with all my questions answered and a detailed explanation of the surgical procedure, surgery was quickly scheduled and performed. Dr. Patterson and his staff, plus the Dogs, all get 5 stars and they will be missed. Enjoy your retirement.
I had an Aneurysm that was a real worry to me and my wife. I was put at ease from my first visit. The operation was not easy for myself or the doctor and the doctor did a fantastic job. His staff were excellent. I could not recommend Dr. Patterson any higher. The hospital that was used was Mirium hospital in Providence R.I. and that was also a good choice. Dr. Patterson and his staff (Erin) went above and beyond to help my husband. They saw him some day we called and was diagnosed with a DVT in his leg. Dr Patterson then sent us to Miriam Hospital for treatment. I can't say enough great things about them....truly saved my husband's life.
Due to his misdiagnosis, I developed a blood clot. He had the information needed to properly diagnose me but was too dismissive. Because of him, I have developed debilitating symptoms that may not be treated. It is too late!!!!!! Stay away from him if you want a proper diagnosis. He is also very a disrespectful attitude towards his patients. He was SUPPOSED to be the best. He is the best at making mistakes!!!!

Arrogant, pompous, condescending and dismissive with an overinflated view of himself. He lacked empathy and behaved callously towards my concerns. My first and only appointment was so negative I will never return. I waited OVER 1 1/2 hours before being seen. I made the “mistake” of questioning how long the appointment would be as I had to return to work. Rude, arrogant, 0 star rating if possible. He performed a phlebectomy & removed greater saphenous on leg 18 yrs ago. Went back recently, multiple issues, dismissive, treated as though I wasted his time. Vascular surgeon who refused to treat me as though my leg swelling, pain and poor circulation/varices was insignificant. Issues at hand were invalid, unrelated and wouldn't waste his time chasing veins. Thankfully there are other amazing MD's in RI! 2 procedures later feel amazing!
