Dr. MacMillan was very understanding of my health issues. I'm glad he is my PCP. If anyone knows where he is located again, please tell me?
Dr. MacMillan is the best, he is compassionate, understanding and extremely knowledgable. However, because he takes time to listen to and know his patients, he often runs behind. If waiting isn't an option for you, then I would suggest an early morning appt (I always make mine around 7:30am so that I am first in line). He works through lunch, so don't plan on getting ahead by booking an appt just after the lunch hour.
Dr Mac is great. He takes time with his patients and doesn't rush you through like cattle. He takes time to listen and get to know you on a personal level. He doesn't have to look at your chart to know your name or your history. Good luck to all those searching for a punctual doctor because I don't know any that are on time every time. I don't mind being patient.
As you read reviews on Dr Mac you notice a trend. You may wait in the waiting room longer than you planned. However, if you read all the reviews you notice the reason why you wait a little longer to see Dr Mac. He is compassionate and thorough. He takes his time listening to you, the patient. I actuay look forward to going to the doctor now. Dr. MacMillan is an incredible doctor. He is professional, empathetic, attentive, and dedicated. Some of the other comments mention a long wait-time ... well, what do you expect with 100 people moving to Nashville every day? If you arrive on time for your appointment the wait time is minimal. Now if I could just find a dentist this good I'd be all set ...
