I was appalled at this doctor's arrogance and demeaning behavior towards me and my symptom's for which I was needing treatment for. He totally cut me off as I was speaking, giving my ideas and symptom's as to what was possibly going on with me. I work in the medical field as well which I did not tell him. If this doctor walks in your room, ask for another doctor or leave. He is arrogant, narcissistic and judgemental. I have Hemophilia and degenerative disc disease. I had been suffering with nonstop diahrrea for several days which could be an emergency with the disc condition. I was told to go to the ER. Do yourself a favor and go home if this man is your doctor at the ER. If I could put negative stars I would. I’ve been to sunnyside ER several times (an unfortunate side effect of POTS) and have never had any issues before the very aptly named Dr. Dickason. For context, I had an appointment earlier in the day with my cardiologist. During the appointment he had me do several orthostatic movements which caused me to become dizzy and disoriented. I am a fan of Kaiser but Dr. Dickason should not be practicing medicine, certainly not with woman and frankly probably no one else without extensive re-training. Upon arriving at the Sunnyside emergency room, my wife was frightened and experiencing severe stomach pain. She had passed out a few hours earlier. The staff at Sunnyside was terrific and took my wife quickly. But then Dr. Dickason arrived. He was arrogant, condensending, and totally inapropriate.
