Dr. Weinsheimer was a remarkable surgeon to work with. When your whole world feels like it has stalled and your little one needs a medical intervention it can be overwhelming and a bit to handle; the pediatric surgery team was very supportive during our time in the NICU. Dr Weinsheimer was absolutely wonderful in repairing my sons pectus excavatum with the Nuss procedure, a 3 hour surgery which will help my son have a normal lung capacity and chest wall. He was always caring and thorough, making sure to listen carefully and explain everything very well. He is that rare Dr who you feel you can simply trust knowing intuitively that your family is in good hands. Thank you Dr!!
