Horrible experience, zero communication, listening skills, did not make it through vitals process. I drove in so I walked out. I am significantly physically disabled, I kindly and innocently made a tiny request. I have 2 horribly injured shoulders, one recently operated on. I also did mention bicept issues. What does nurse do, PUTS AUTO CUFF ON MY BICEPT. She obviously did not listen to one word I said. Assuming patients know nothing. You know what happens when you assume. I went in to try and get information on getting a counselor so I walk in the first window I come to the lady snaps at me and in a rude voice said I need to find a window with a green light but I didn't know that because the last time I was there was before daycare took over so I didn't know but yet she wouldn't even help me just snapped at me at me again so I had had to go to another window to get some help. If you hire people who dont want to help people they don't need to be working there.

UPDATE: Over 7 years ago I had a horrible experience with the Morton Plant ER. In 2025, same horrible experience. I was hopeful they had gotten better, but just as bad if not worse. I came to the Morton Plant ER on July 14, 2025, by recommendation of my ENT doctor. He had scoped my throat earlier and said I had sores all over my voice box. I had a lot of trouble swallowing and my voice box was extremely painful. I was a patient of Dr. Resic for several years, but noticed her billing increased significantly each year. I ultimately decided to switch providers after being charged over $1,400 for a routine annual physical. I wouldn’t recommend this practice, as they seem to add excessive charges. I have no health issues, yet my costs were far higher than my husband’s—even though he has multiple medical conditions and his bills are about one-tenth of mine.

The nursing staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. They don't bring water unless requested. They don't listen to the patient asking for xrays until 4 days in the hospital and then find out the your toe is fractured. They don't change sheets for days and leave patient in chair for 8 hours. They leave food trays where incapacitated patient cannot get to it. If my sister's weren't in the room my mom wouldn't have been able to eat. They didn't clean her but maybe 2x and emptied her urine seldom. They didn't introduce themselve... read more

Alex is so easy to talk to and gives credit advice for my gastric sleeve journey that I have been on for more than 2 years now. I appreciate her more than she knows.
