Dr. Sommer is outstanding, and I wouldn't want anyone else to work on my heart. During the consultation, he was a great educator and meticulously explained (with diagrams!) my procedure, sharing excellent studies and evidence that support the effectiveness of the procedure. Nurse Barbara Robbins and Dr. Sommer are a phenomenal team, and I feel confident about my procedure.

I've a patient of Dr Sommer for over 16 years. He has always been available if I needed his help with an issue. And his PA Barbara is a wonderful asset to Dr. Sommer. Doctor Summer and nurse Barbara are the best clinical duo I know. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, patient, caring, and have a great sense of humor. Their smiles bring warmth and peace to me. I just love them to pieces.
A few days ago (May 16) I had a video visit with Dr. Sommer. He explained thoroughly and with great clarity the procedure I may decide to do - or not. He did not rush through his explanation. If I decide to go through with the procedure, he will absolutely be my "go to" doctor.
