He was my doctor for over 25 years. Then he was gone with no explanation.
I had been seeing Dr. Kapicka for many years and was always pleased with the care he provided. He was very thorough, professional and personable. I am at a loss to understand the few negative comments I've seen posted. My wife and I are both very disappointed to hear of his retirement. We can only hope to find another doctor like Dr. Kapicka.
Did not answer all my questions or my wife's. I'm the doctor you're the patient approach. Did not take my concerns seriously. I will find another doctor.
I've gone to Dr. Kapicka for a long time. I love his non-alarmist approach. If he finds something wrong he gives options for how I can proceed and the possible outcomes for choosing each. This way I can make an informed decision. I never feel he pushes me into unnecessary testing and he is straight forward about what I can expect to learn from the test I do take. He's a breath of fresh air in a time where test crazy doctors seem more interested in their liability than learning what ails you.

Dr. Kapicka saved my life because he sent me back to the hospital for more tests after I was released from the hospital three days prior to seeing him.He could tell something still wasn't right , sent me back to the hospital for additional tests and encouraged me to wait until the tests were completed to consult with him before leaving the hospital. Good thing, I was admitted immediately to the ER and scheduled for abdominal surgery. He is a no nonsense physician. I am now his patient.
