I was referred to see a neurosurgeon at this clinic. I was referred by my neurologist. I happen to get dr Gewirtz. I was having the worst pain in my arm and hand. Numb, asleep feeling, pain, weakness, ect. I gave them my MRI X-rays. He walked in. Did 3 half harded push pull test. Looked at me and said there was nothing he could do for me. Still in pain unable to go up or downstairs. I was not interested in pain meds I wanted a conservative approach. I wanted to see a doctor. I waited 2 hours only saw a medical assistant. I did pass Dr Gewirtz on my way out in the hallway. A waste of time during a deadly pandemic. I even filled out all of their paperwork at home ahead of time brought all cds and MRIs and xrays they requested and for what? I would give a zero if possible. I had an appointment with him Monday March 16 at the office he used in Springfield Ohio. He is rude and cocky and doesn't care about me as a patient. He stood in the doorway with the door open and said he couldn't do anything for me. My insurance company shouldn't be billed for this so called appointment. He verbally insulted me. I am reporting him to my insurance company and the board of medical physicians. And I'm also contacting a lawyer about a law suit against him. I wouldn't recommend h... read more
I have had two surgeries by Dr. Gewirtz. He has successfully made me pain free both times. He is a no nonsense surgeon. He gets straight to the point and very matter of fact, a very smart and talented doctor. I highly recommend him.
