DO NOT go to this Dr. EVER. My interaction was by far the worst experience I have ever had in the medical field. I was meeting Dr for a procedure recommended by his colleague - I asked if I could speak to him before procedure. When he walked in he was already clearly aggravated I even wanted to talk to him (mind you I had never met that man and he was going to perform an invasive procedure on me). We met Dr. Bierwirth under distressing conditions (a sudden five-day hospital stay). He was reassuring and arranged appropriate care (including from another find doctor in this practice who was in attendance on a given day). Looking back from the other end of a recovery we truly appreciate his practice's fine and competent care.
I did not receive a timely response to further tests that this doctor authorized. During the two-three week period after this test I had to return to ER where I found out the tests had identified gall stones.
