Extremely impatient with questions - listened superficially and gave only abbreviated answers. He evidently becomes rather annoyed if asked to provide any explanation to the patient. The sole bad doctor I’ve encountered at MSK over the past 10 years.
Dr Allen was disappointing. After my double mastectomy my healthy right breast dropped 4 inches ower than my left due to the stitches coming out of the breast expander. His response was cold and uncaring, stating that happens sometimes. He offered no apology or remedy. It has been 7 months of pain and I am now seeking my reconstruction at a different hospital. Its a shame thar MSK is not what it once was.
Dr. Robert Allen is an exceptional physician. Excellent doctor—kind, thorough, and attentive. Exceptional doctor and amazing staff. I’m very thankful for the care, support, and attention I received from him and his team. Top-notch doctor with an outstanding team. Dr. Robert Allen’s attention to detail is unmatched, and the care I received was exceptional. Five stars are not enough to grade Dr. Robert Allen and his team. Truly outstanding care.
