What makes allergy fun? I'm a medical detective! Sometimes the answer to a patient's puzzle is obvious; often it requires careful investigation. Few MDs take as much time speaking with patients & parents as an allergist. I choose skin tests or blood tests based on careful history & exam. Usually initial suspicions are confirmed; sometimes we are surprised. Parents & children (& adults) I see know that they will receive my complete attention for as long as it takes to help them to better health.
